James D. Arflack Jr.

James D. “JD” Arflack, Jr., age 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

JD was born July 24, 1946 in Evansville, IN, to the late James D. and Doris M. (Fallowfield) Arflack. He graduated from Castle High School in 1965. JD spent twenty-seven years in the United States Navy. During that time, he spent more than nine years of his life floating on the oceans of the world. He was a six-time combat Veteran of Vietnam. JD was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and the Navy Fleet Reserve Association.

JD is survived by his sister, Patricia J. Miller; two brothers, Thomas L. Arflack (Susie) and Larry W. Arflack (Vickie); two children, James D. Arflack, III and Theresa Marie Arflack McDaniel; granddaughter, Jade Alexis McDaniel; three step-children; eight step-grandchildren; and twenty-four step-great grandchildren.

JD is preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris Arflack, wife of 50 years, Ann Marie Arflack, and two brothers, David L. Arflack and Mark C. Arflack.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Dr. J.R Hume officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.  

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
