James L. Moore, age 82, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
James was born March 1, 1938, in Evansville, IN, to Charles and Verba (Duley) Moore. He graduated from Central High School in 1958 and was a Veteran in the United States Army. James worked as an engineer for CSX Railroad for 30 years, before retiring in 1990. James was a ham radio operator for WA9Z FM, and he enjoyed computers, sci-fi, and playing chess.
James is survived by his sister, Sue Weber (Randal); nieces and nephews, Deborah Weber, Leslie Wagner (John), Michael Carlstrom (Denise), and Kurt Carlstrom; and multiple great nieces and great nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Verba Moore; and sister, Barbara Carlstrom.
Graveside Services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN.
