James W. Summers, 75, of Evansville, died at 4:05 a.m. yesterday at Regina Continuing Care.
A chiropractor, Dr. Summers started his own practice in Davenport, Iowa. He attended aimer Chiropractic College in avenport and attended Logan asic in St. Louis.
Surviving are his wife of 42 jars, Imogene “Jean”; a sister, Dorothy Summers of Troy, Mich.; a brother, Richard Summers of Temple, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Ave., continued at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Sauer officiating.
Burial ill be in St. Joseph Cemetery, friends may call from 1 to 3 .m. tomorrow at Regina Continuing Care, 3900 Washington Ave., and 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow Boone Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
