Obituary

James Lee "Jim" Cantwell, age 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:33 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Jim was born December 6, 1954, in Lawrenceville, IL, to the late William and Eugenia (Brooks) Cantwell. He graduated from Onolaska High School and attended Carthage College where he graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Law, where he played basketball. He had a love for food, especially Turoni’s. Jim was an avid bicyclist, cycling 20 miles a day for many years. He loved playing the video game Tetris and listening to music, especially, Jazz in his spare time.

Jim is survived by his sons, James Cantwell and Thomas Cantwell (Danielle); sisters, Catherine and Christine; younger brothers, Mike and Tom Cantwell; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Bill Cantwell; and dear friend Linda Inboden.

There will be no Funeral Services. Burial will be Private.
