James L. “Jim” Kuehn, age 77, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital - Evansville.
Jim was born January 7, 1943, in Evansville, IN, to Vernon and Edith (Brown) Kuehn. He graduated from North High School in 1961. James retired as an electrician from Alcoa and was a member of United Steelworkers Local 104. He enjoyed watching Western movies, and he especially loved guns, fast cars, and his Harley. James raced enduro motorcycles when he was younger.
Jim is survived by his daughters; Dolli Neikirk (Chris), Cheri Emge (Wes), and Chris Harwick; brothers, Ivan “Sonny” Kuehn (Micki) and Randy Kuehn (Peg); grandchildren, Amanda Hart (Tyler), Chandler Kight, Madison Emge, Danielle Emge, Alexandra Neikirk, Berkeley Neikirk, and Briley Neikirk; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 18 years, Diana M. (Chockley) Kuehn; and Chris’ significant other, Val Thurow.
Celebration of Life and Burial will be Private.
