James M. "Mike" Durbin

James M. “Mike” Durbin, Sr., age 64, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:06 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Mike was born December 15, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to Estel James and Pearl (Majors) Durbin. He attended Columbia Elementary School and North High School. Mike enjoyed spot shooting, riding motorcycles, playing pool, watching Westerns, working with cars, and playing cards.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Birdena Birdwell and Becky Durbin; son, James Michael Durbin, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and mother of his children, Debbie (Beavin) Durbin.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Pearl Durbin; and siblings, Rebecca Joe Mendez, Betty Jean Durbin, Patsy Dean Walker, Janice Gosser, Vickie Ann Stephens, Billy Jo Durbin, and Jenny Durbin.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
