Jane Ann (Kirk) Laibe, age 67, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019.
Jane was born December 27, 1951, in Evansville, IN, to Wilson and Helen (Summitt) Kirk.
She is survived by her siblings, Susan Kirk Hainsworth (John), Morgan Kirk (Paula) and Shelley Kirk Fischer (Mark) all of Evansville. Jane is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Daniel and Paige Hainsworth, Wes (Jill), Russell, and Cyporah Kirk and Max Fischer. Jane dearly loved each and every one of them and took great delight in watching them grow-up.
Jane now joins her beloved husband, George, her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins who preceded her in death in a happy reunion.
Jane grew up in Evansville, graduated from Harrison High School in 1969 and as a young adult spent some time in Nashville, TN. Upon marrying George, they moved to Arizona for many years where they are survived by his extended family.
Though she would argue, Jane was a wonderful artist. She had a keen eye for color, and could draw or paint anything. She appreciated the work of the Masters as well as her young artist’s works hanging on her refrigerator.
Jane was also a top notch movie/tv critic — but only for friends and family. She loved watching the latest release, popcorn in hand, followed by a rousing discussion of critique and debate.
Jane’s big heart, sweet smile and warm hugs will be missed by all.
