Janet Elaine (Austill) Libbert

Janet Elaine (Austill) Libbert, age 69, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family.

Janet was born October 1, 1952, in Evansville, IN, to Freeman J. and Ruth Ellen (Dimmick) Austill. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1971. Janet worked as a labeler for 35 years at Bristol Meyers Squibb and later worked as a cashier for 12 years at Lowe’s. She was a member of Living Word Christian Church in Newburgh. Janet enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses, and she especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Erin Conner (Zac); granddaughter, Ryleigh Conner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Ruth Austill; and siblings, Freeman J. Austill, Jr., Samuel Austill, Wayne Anderson, Jenny Austill, Kay Ward, and Pam Dixon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Mike Claypool officiating.
