Janet Yvonne (Kinsolving) Madden

Janet Yvonne (Kinsolving) Madden, age 85, of Evansville, IN, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at her home.

Janet was born June 30, 1939 on the family farm in Lyon County, KY to the late William and Auda (Cummins) Kinsolving. She attended Bosse High School and graduated from Jeffersonville High School. She also attended the University of Evansville. Janet was employed by the Department of Treasury for 21 years where she was an Internal Revenue Agent. During her retirement, she prepared tax returns with AARP Tax Aides for 11 seasons and she served on the board for the Evansville Federal Credit Union.

Janet and her late husband, Jack Madden, loved boating their entire 43 years together. They were both charter members of the Inland Yacht Club. Janet was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Carla Baker (Jeff); and her grandson, Casey Rickard.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Mark Porter officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Mausoleum.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
