Javion DeShay Presley

Javion DeShay Presley, age 17, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:38 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Javion was born May 6, 2005, in Evansville, IN, to Alicia Presley and Deaunte McNary.

Javion was quite the entrepreneur who was always willing to work hard without complaining in order to make money.

Javion was baptized at an early age and attended Memorial Baptist Church with both of his grandmothers and Uncle Donovan.

Javion had a generous and kind heart with a bright smile. He was always there to protect his siblings and his mom whom he loved dearly.

Javion loved basketball, and despite his small stature, he was always up to taking on the Big Boys. He loved rapping and joking around with his friends.

Javion is survived by his parents, Alicia Presley and Deaunte McNary; siblings, Ashawna Logan, Olivia Logan, Jahsiya Smith, Kimoni Kirt, and KaMari McNary; great grandmother, Mary Bennett; grandparents, Nikki Presley, Gregory Presley, Yvette and Anthony Byerson; uncles, Donovan McNeal and Chad Bennett (Julie); aunts, Tashay Lewis (Kalmel), Patrice Baker, and Tezara Baker; and best friend, Omarion Johnson.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel with Reverend Adrian M. Brooks, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
