Jeannie Yvonne Clegg

Jeannie Yvonne Clegg, age 71, of Chandler, IN, went home to be with the Lord at 3:50 a.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Jeannie was born February 24, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to Howard “Bruce” Willis and Lela Ruth Robinson. She graduated from Central High School in 1965. Jeannie attended Crossroads Christian Church and worked for Whirlpool Corporation for 26 years. She loved her children and grandchildren. Jeannie was a foster parent for 26 children over 18 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Herbert Clegg; son, Anthony Scott Clegg (Lori) of Chandler; daughter, Kim Burnett (Tom) of Chandler; grandchildren, Vanessa Wissner (Matt) of Boonville, Melissa Burnett (Ray) of Chandler, Matthew Burnett (Molly) of Newburgh, and Derrick Myers of Evansville; great grandchildren, Maya Wissner, Matthew “Gus” Wissner, Jax Wissner, Keaira Roy, Kason Roy, Evan Myers, Brayden Myers, and Brylynn Myers; and brother, Tony Robinson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard “Bruce” Willis and Lela Ruth Robinson; and brother, Larry Robinson.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Rick Kyle officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum.  

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
