Jeffrey Van Herreweghe, residing in Evansville, IN, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, in his home at the age of 32.
Jeffrey was born January 25, 1993, in Tulare, CA, to Art and Tammy Van Herreweghe. He graduated from Tulare Tech Prep High School in 2011. Jeffrey picked up many trades. He was a certified welder, a barber, ski instructor, entrepreneur, inventor, hunter, master fisherman, wood-worker and self-proclaimed ‘Life Coach’. He was always there with words of enthusiatic encouragement, and an ear to listen for anyone who needed it
Jeffrey could light up a room with his beautiful smile. He had a big heart and did not like to see people upset. He was a goofball and would go out of his way to see a smile or get a laugh out of the people around him.
Jeffrey was most at peace in nature and around animals. He loved his best friend Gidget. When he was young, he spent hours with his grandfather racing pigeons.
Jeffrey is survived by his mom, Tammy; sisters, Jennifer and Stefenie; brother, Ardy; brother-in-law, Adam; grandmas, Penny and Jo-Ann; aunties, Janet, Robin, Pauline, Natalie, Holland, Tish and Cathy; uncles, Albert, Bill and Joseph; nieces, Elayna, Maddison, Amaya and Aleah; nephews, Andrew, Ian and Aaron; and numerous cousins and second cousins.
Although his journey in life was filled with struggles and challenges, he masked his pain and suffering from those around him.
Gone too soon.
Just so thankful for every minute we shared. He will be missed dearly and loved always. May he rest in peace.
Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be Private.
