Jenny Marie (Jessie) Martin

Jenny Marie (Jessie) Martin, age 51, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her home.

Jenny was born July 12, 1973, in Princeton, IN, to Ron and Gayle (Dassel) Jessie. She graduated from North Posey High School in 1991. Jenny was a member of First Christian Church. She was an Office Manager at PSC Industries. Jenny was an avid reader. She loved her cats. Jenny was a doting “Nana,” loving and spoiling her granddaughter. She was a very loving and giving person doing anything for anyone. Jenny radiated kindness and positivity. She was the epitome of an awesome human being.

Jenny is survived by her parents Ron and Gayle Jessie; husband of 29 years, Michael “Tony” Martin; daughter, Kira Eaden; sons, David Martin and James Martin (Christina); sister, Marcie Stover; brother, Robert Jessie; granddaughter, Braylee Eaden; grandson on the way, Bentley Edward Martin; and a large extended family.

Jenny is preceded in death by her birth father, David Derrington; granddaughter, Alaina Eaden; and paternal and maternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue.

Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
