Jerrine (Hoover) Robertson

Jerrine (Hoover) Robertson, age 94, of New Harmony, IN, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Charles Ford Memorial Home in New Harmony, IN.

Jerrine was born March 2, 1932, in Glasgow, KY, to J. Les and Ida J. (Foster) Hoover. As a child she grew up in Owensboro, KY with her three sisters. She graduated from Owensboro High School in 1950. On August 5, 1956, she married Reverend Charles Bert Robertson who ministered at several churches in the United Methodist Southern Indiana Conference. Jerrine was a faithful and supportive wife as she served right by his side. She was devoted to her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Jerrine is survived by her children, Julie Ann Newman (Jeff), Charles “Bill” Robertson (Debbie), and Lisa Dixon (Ritchie); grandchildren, Jessica Swan (Jason), Jenna Lankford (Clay), Ashley Martin (Jeff), Derrick Robertson (D.J.), Nate Dixon (Shannon), and Jade Moore (Hayden); and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jerrine is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 53 years, Reverend Charles B. Robertson; twin sister, Jeanene VanLandingham; and sisters, Lucy Kunze and Joseannah Brown.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 16,  2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Chaplain Tara Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church Cemetery in McClean County, KY.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
