Jerry Lee LaMastus, age 80, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Jerry was born February 22, 1944, in Central City, KY, to Wesley Lee and Julia Elizabeth (Blackwell) LaMastus. He graduated from Muhlenberg County High School in 1962 and was a member of Creekside Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Jerry was a Union Worker with the Local 1076, working as a Millwright for Faultless Caster. He retired when they closed their doors. He enjoyed watching car shows and was an amateur Ham Radio operator. When he could, Jerry loved to sit outside, under the trees, and play with his radio and watch the squirrels.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Amy Belwood; son, Jeremy LaMastus; and grandchildren, Mason Belwood and Hunter Belwood.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Elizabeth LaMastus; beloved wife of 52 years, Wanda Faye (Noffsinger) LaMastus, who passed away in 2019.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Ed Ellis officiating. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
