Jerry Rudolph Schneider

Jerry Rudolph Schneider, 63, of Newburgh, died Monday, May 15,2000, at his home of cancer.

He retired in 1993 after 28 years as a computer operator for Alcoa Warrick Operations.

He was an Air Force veteran.

He was a graduate of Bosse High School and Evansville Col­lege and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

He was a 27-year member of Crossroads Christian Church, served as elder, Sunday school teacher and small group Bible study leader.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Bettye (Davis); a son, Bri­an of Indianapolis; a sister, Ju­dith Hurm of Evansville; and a niece.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Christ­ian Church in Newburgh, the Rev. Jack Arney officiating, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Ind.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boone Funer­al Home East Chapel and from 11 a.m. to service time at the church.
