Jerry Eugene Weatherholt

Jerry Eugene Weatherholt, age 88, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with the Lord at 6:10 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Good Samaritan Home, surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born August 8, 1933, in Rockport, IN, to Floyd and Hazel (Myers) Weatherholt. He graduated from Rockport High School in 1951. Jerry was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. He worked for John Deer Dealership for over 17 years, and he worked as a Transportation Equipment Mechanic for Alcoa for 22 years. Jerry was a talented pianist, and he enjoyed listening to Gospel music. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Myrna (Wattam) Weatherholt; children, Brian Proctor, Barry Proctor (Jennifer), Lainie Ziliak (Don), Jeri Lee Weatherholt, and Janet Lynn Bullington (Jeff); 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nephews, Kevin Weatherholt (Karen) and Keith Weatherholt (Cheryl)

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Hazel Weatherholt; and brother, Floyd “Parvin” Weatherholt.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Michael Erwin officiating. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
