Jo Ann (McEuen) Overfield

Jo Ann (McEuen) Overfield, age 88, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:00 a.m. November 24, 2020, at her home.

Jo was born February 13, 1932, in Central City, KY to Hylen McEuen and Bessie (Robinson) McEuen. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1950. She attended Lockyear Business College and completed Secretarial/Accounting Courses. She worked as an E.E. Rehn Secretary for 34 years, and retired from J.D. Turner Oil Company of 18 years. She attended American Baptist East Church. She was a loving mother, and a devoted Christian. She enjoyed needlework and was an avid reader.

Jo is survived by her sons, Russ Overfield (Kathy Brown) of Evansville, IN, and Ken Overfield (Linda) of Davenport, FL; sister, Eva Koenig (Herbert) of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Michael Overfield (Ashley Coomes), Nathan (Melissa) Overfield, and Nicholas (Kerry) Overfield; and two great grandchildren, Ethan Overfield and Emily Overfield.

Jo is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Overfield; sisters, Ernestine McEuen and Margaret Vincent; brothers, James McEuen, Ernest McEuen, and Raymond McEuen.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2020, at Embrace Church formly known as American Baptist East Church with Reverend Jeff Stratton officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
