John Arthur York, age 83, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023.
John was born in Chanute, Kansas January 30, 1940. He graduated from high school in Chanute Kansas and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served aboard various ships and was honorably discharged. He was employed at GE in the Installation and Service Engineering Dept for the past 40 years
He is survived by his wife, Bettye; daughters, Jeanne Onder of Festus, MO, Juli Moore of Fenton, MO, and Barbara Kinney of Latkspur, CA; son, Robin Kinney of Newport Beach, CA, and Douglas Kinney of Glen Ellyn, IL; and many grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
