Joyce Ann (Scott) Fark

Joyce Ann (Scott) Fark, age 81, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Newburgh, IN, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, May 16, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Joyce was born October 6, 1940, in Evansville, IN, to Elsie Scott & Bertha (Stuckey) Damrath. She attended the old Central High School. Joyce was a carhop at the Humpty Dumpty Drive-in when she met her husband, James. She knew he was a keeper. Joyce was a Bus Driver for the Warrick County School Corporation for 13 years. She enjoyed painting, crafting, quilting and making jewelry. Her favorite thing in the world was to be surrounded by her family. Joyce had open arms to all the children in her life and loved each of them as her own. She truly was a remarkable woman and she will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Fark; daughter, Becky Holmes; sons, Richard Fark (Jonalee Jones), Charles Johnson (Beth); grandchildren, Kendra Krietemeyer, Dallas Fark (Andrea), Kason Fark (Mariann), Jake Fark, Jarrod Jones (Tracie), Christopher Coffman; great grandchildren, Dexter, Nathan, Madison, Ada, Dahlia, Clara and Jack; sisters, Vicki Meredith and Terri Witters; lifelong friend, Jackie Fagan; and close friend, Donna Bische.

Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kenny Johnson; her parents Elsie Scott and Bertha Damrath; and brothers, Lorenzo Dale Stuckey, Donald Scott and John Johnson.

Visitation Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue.
