Obituary
Judith F. (Nixon) Young, age 74, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Judy was born August 20, 1948, in Evansville, IN, to Allison and Naoma (McKinney) Nixon. She graduated from Bosse High School and went on to graduate from Lockyears Business College. Judy was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and worked as a Licensed Insurance Agent and Office Manager for Bob Davis State Farm. She enjoyed quilting, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her son, Bryan Young (Aubrey); grandchildren, Paige Young (Justin), Ethan Young (Andie), and Joshua Young (Dakota); and best friend, Kay Wilson.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Allison and Naoma Nixon; and beloved husband of 48 years, Daryell C. “Butch” Young.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Gateway Baptist Church, 7564 State Route 66, Newburgh, IN. Burial will be Private.
