Judith Ann "Judy" Mehne

Judith Ann “Judy” (Daws) Mehne, age 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital - Evansville.

Judy was born May 31, 1945, in Evansville, IN, to Gilbert Daws and Ruth (Blesch) Daws. She was a 1963 graduate of Central High School. Judy married Curtis “Bud” Mehne on April 22, 1966 and enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Throughout her life she taught Sunday School for over 25 years and sang in the church Choir. Judy was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Curtis “Bud” Mehne; sons, David Mehne (Lora) and Chad Mehne (Amy); grandchildren, John, Nicholas, Joseph and Zachary; and brother Michael Daws.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents.

Private Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 5133 Old Indiana 261, Newburgh, IN 47630 with Pastor Don Gray officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
