Keith P. Waterbury, Sr., age 60, of Chandler, IN, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 17, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
Keith was born August 3, 1965, in Evansville, Indiana, to William H. and Lillian (Seiler) Waterbury. He graduated from Castle High School in 1983. He married his lovely wife, Melissa, in April of 1987. Keith has been a long-time member of the Local 561 Union Construction. He’s been an avid outdoorsman, and has always enjoyed hunting and fishing. Keith also enjoyed being outside gardening and canning. For a time, he was a member of the Horseshoe Club at the Poor Man’s Country Club. He was also a member of the Chandler Jay C’s, and helped with the toys for tots and easter bunny festivities. He’s been a wonderful husband, father, brother and so much more. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Keith is survived by his wife, Melissa; his sons, Keith Waterbury Jr. and Glen Waterbury; his brother, William “Bill” Waterbury (Kimberly); his best friends, Ray Richmond and Tommy Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian; his brother, Jim Waterbury; and his sister, Mary Jo Johnson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chris Waterbury- the care and compassion you’ve shown for Keith over the last few years is so greatly appreciated. We thank you and love you so much.
The family would additionally like to thank Heritage Hospice and its staff, you have all been so amazing while Keith was in your care.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery, Chandler, IN with Pastor Joseph Stephenson officiating.
