Kenneth Schulz, age 73, of Woodlands, TX, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, after a long health battle. Ken was brave, courageous, and maintained his sense of humor throughout.
Ken was born November 11, 1951, in Evansville, IN, to Jack Schulz and Patty Williams. After serving in the United States Army as a Helicopter pilot, he pursued his life long dream of being a commercial pilot for American Airlines. Ken was an extremely talented painter. He enjoyed travelling in his RV and coaching his daughter’s softball teams. Ken was also a very accomplished home brewer and competition judge.
Ken is survived by his two beloved children, Elizabeth Huebert (Benjamin) and Alexandra Carr (George) from his marriage to Jill Chachere; grandchildren, Zoey Huebert, Hollis Huebert, Violet Carr, and Henry Carr; his loving partner, Patricia Smith; stepmother, Barbara Schulz; and four brothers who cherished him deeply.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, Donald Williams.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
