Kimberly Ann (Thomas) Gehlhausen

Kimberly Ann “Kim” (Thomas) Gehlhausen, age 58, of Evansville, IN, passed peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021, at her home.

Kim was born, May 10, 1963 in Evansville, IN, to James D. Thomas and Anita M. Thomas. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1981. Kim worked in retail management for many years. She enjoyed watching birds outside, spending time with her family, and caring for her beloved dogs, Ellie Mae and Milo. Kim was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed dearly.

Kim is survived by her mother, Anita M.; her husband of 13 years, Mitchell Gehlhausen; step-daughters, Mary Cundiff (Tommy) and Amanda Gehlhausen (Clyde); step-son, Craig Gehlhausen; brother, Keith Thomas (Teresa); 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

Kim is preceded in death by her father, James D.; and her son, Jason Reising in 2012.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Rev. Matthew Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Friday, May 21, 2021, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL
