Knute Douglas Beard

Knute Douglas Beard, a.k.a. Tommy Thunder, age 42, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023.

Knute was born April 18, 1980, in Princeton, IN, to Kenneth and Delores (Davis) Beard. He attended Princeton Community High School. Knute was a published poet, and he loved to dance and watch John Wayne movies.

He sees endless pain that everyone suffers
Looking at the physical and spiritual needs of others
He begins to listen to all the pain and agony
He begins to comfort
To make all understand and see
A man who is selfish with wealth cannot see and understand
All the grace and love God gives all throughout the land

By giving his Son to die for you and me

Knute is survived by his parents, Kenny and Delores Beard; older sister, Karma Hurst (Richard); and younger brother, Karl Beard; uncle Danny Beard; and many cousins.

Knute is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis R. and Bettye Rosealie Beard and Ralph Moody and Nellie Faye Davis.

A Celebration of Life will held at a later date. Burial will be Private in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Selvin, IN.
