Krista Nicole Brune

Krista Nicole Brune, age 25, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Krista was born November 28, 1998, in Evansville, IN. She attended Bosse High School and was currently working on her Nursing Degree at Ivy Tech. She attended First Presbyterian Church. Krista worked in the Dietary Department at Deaconess Gateway and at Nellie’s new northside location. She was a beautiful, vibrant spirit – a firecracker – who was intelligent and witty. She was the greatest at being a mom; she loved her girls more than anything in this world and loved spending time with them outdoors.

Krista is survived by her mother, Debra Cash; daughters, India Nicole Brune and Georgia Evelyn Brune; sisters, Amanda Brune, Samantha Brune, and Amber Brune; aunts, Charlene Necco and Janet Cash; nephews, Dominic Rivers, Bradyn Thomas, and Carter Brune; special friend, James Stinson; and cousins.

Krista is preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Allen-Cole Shelton, who passed away in 2022;  aunt, Donna Taylor; and grandparents, Fred and Marie Cash.

Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Jerusha Van Camp officiating. Burial will be Private at Rose Hill Cemetery where she will rest beside her beloved brother, Jesse.

Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
