Kyle David Hester, age 25, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at home.
Kyle was born October 22, 1998, in Evansville, IN, to Robert Hester and Barbara (Wood) Hester. He attended Bosse High School where he was in the Marching Band. Kyle enjoyed playing video games and listening to music. He collected Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and competed in card game events. Kyle grew up in Bethany Christian Church and enjoyed attending summer church camp. He loved his pets, especially his cats Cherry and Anakin.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Robert Hester (Marla Minton) and Barbara Hester; brother, Kevin Hester (Jennifer); and niece, Olivia; grandmother, Julia Wood; aunt, Susan Hester; uncles, Chuck Hester (Dena) and John Wood; and many cousins.
Kyle is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chester Wood; and paternal grandparents, Virgil and Millie Hester and Sami Steadman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Kyle Hunter officiating. Burial will be private.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
