Lara Patricia (Stidham) Massie

Lara Patricia (Stidham) Massie, age 39, of Evansville, IN, went home to Heaven on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at her home.

Lara was born May 23, 1982, in Evansville, IN, to Shelby Stidham, Jr. and Linda Kay Stidham. She attended Harrison High School. Lara was a hard worker and loved making people laugh. Lara loved her children and granddaughter very much. She surrounded herself with friends and family. Lara enjoyed listening to rap music and 80’s rock. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Lara is survived by her daughters, Courtney Danielle Bradburn and Mallorie Morgan Star Groppenbacher; son, Kevin John Groppenbacher, Jr.; granddaughter, Madelyn Rose Briscoe; brothers, James Alan Stidham (Michelle), Wesley Daniel Franklin Stidham and Cam Nelson Stidham (Rebecca); twin sister, Tara Lynn Stidham and sister, Shelby Lynn Stidham; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lara is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Linda.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Brian DeTalente officiating.
