Larry Ray Davis

Larry Ray Davis, age 65, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Evansville, IN, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on September 3, 2018, in his home.

Larry was born September 19, 1952 in Evansville, IN to John and Mary (Baize) Davis. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1970. He will be remembered for his loving heart as a husband, father and grandfather, his sense of humor, his enjoyment of sports, and his veracious sweet tooth. His grandchildren brought the greatest joy to his life and he will be missed deeply by his family.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Dorothy J. Davis; son, Michael John Davis of Palm Harbor, Florida, daughter-in-law Ashley Davis, adoring grandchildren Lincoln Montgomery Davis, Ella Kate Davis; and sister, Darlene Morales of Evansville, IN.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Steven J. Davis.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Mike Claypool officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
