Larry Ronald Dayvolt

Larry Ronald Dayvolt, age 83, of Chandler, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Avon Health & Rehabilitation Center, Avon, IN.

Larry was born September 29, 1941, in Evansville, IN, to Malcolm Ashworth Dayvolt and Amanda Olene (Dent) Dayvolt. He graduated from the old Central High School in 1959. Larry was a Union Carpenter with Local 90 and was a Carpenter Gold Card member for 50 years. He had a passion for building and was the owner and operator of his own Home Building Company that specialized in Plastering and Interior Drywall.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Patti Stewart (Tim) of Avon, IN, and Tammy Ellis of Brownsburg, IN; ex-wife and life-long friend, Karen Sue (Chenault) Dayvolt of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Sandy (Dayvolt) Harris of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Terry Dayvolt (Susy) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, LJ Ellis, Dustin Stewart, Jackie (Stewart) Binette, Chad Ellis, and Jessica (Stewart) Pruitt; and great grandchildren, Bryn, Landon, Brayden, Preslee, Ezra, Lilah, Zion, Skielyn, and Marshall.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Amanda Olene Dayvolt; step-mother, Elsie Dayvolt; and step-mother, Rosemary Dayvolt.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until service time, Friday, October 25, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
