Lawrence "Larry" Hahn

Lawrence “Larry” Hahn, age 79, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at his home.

Larry was born June 24, 1940, in Evansville, IN.  and graduated from North High School in 1958. After a career in credit, he retired as the corporate credit manager for the Courier and Press. Larry is a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a member of All Saints Catholic Parish, American Legion Kapperman Post 44 and Red Brush Gun Club.  He proudly served LST 325 with over 5,000 hours of service in various capacities.  He enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding and gun shows.

Larry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol (Gerkin) Hahn, daughters, Cindy Hahn Rickard and Becky Casey (Robert); brother, Walter “Bud” Veach (Faye); grandchildren, Josh Brown (April), Jeremy Rickard (Brittany), Jamie Kerperien (Matt), Justin Casey (Joanna), Jodi Casey (Jason); great grandchildren,  Kylee Casey, J. J. Brown, Maycee Rickard,  Rex Kerperien and Harper Rickard.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, William R. Hahn and Armitta (Humke) Hahn;  Judith “Judy” Hahn, his first wife and mother of his daughters, who passed away in 1986; and brother, James Hahn.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jordan Carlock and Southern Care Hospice for their excellent care of Larry during his last illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Larry was entombed in Park Lawn Mausoleum.
