Lawrence "Larry" Walker Obituary

Lawrence “Larry” Walker, age 92, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at The Village at Hamilton Pointe.

Larry was born August 2, 1928, in Hartford City, IN, to William and Ella Ruth (Price) Walker. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1947 and was a Veteran in the United States Army. Larry was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He was the founder, owner, and operator of Larry Walker Hearing Aids. Larry loved that he was able to participate in the Veterans Honor Flight to Washington DC in May 2018. He was a Kentucky Colonel and an avid Purdue sports fan.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Margo Walker; granddaughter, Halley Sun Wozniak; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Richard and Nancy Burek.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 27 years, Grace Marie (Schmittler) Walker; and brothers, Lloyd Walker and Charles Walker.

Due to Covid-19, Services will be Private. Burial will be Private at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, IL.
