Leroy Smith

Leroy Smith, age 83, of Chandler, IN, passed away on March 20, 2024, at his home.

Leroy was born February 6, 1941, in Merrimac, WV, to Raymond Preston and Myrtle (McCoy) Smith. He served in United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of American Legion Kapperman Post #44 honor guard.

Leroy is survived by his daughter, Christa Smith; brother, Frank Smith; and Anna Fuchs and Lori Houchin.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda Smith; and son, Frank Smith.

Military Honors will be rendered by the American Legion Kapperman Post #44 Honor Guard, on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow until 6:00 p.m., at the American Legion Kapperman Post #44, 7111 State Street, Newburgh, IN 47630. Burial will be Private.
