Leslie L. (Parsons) Boone

Leslie Boone, age 70, of Evansville, IN, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 in her home.

Leslie was born March 6, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, to Wheeler and Alberta (Parkey) Parsons. After graduating high school in 1972, she was a veterinarian office manager at ARK Veterinary Services for over 20 years. She was a member of the Jimmy Buffet Parrot Heads. Leslie enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, as well as spending time outside. You could always find her in the stands cheering on her grandkids.   

Leslie is survived by her significant other; Joe Richardville, daughters; Shanda (Kurt) Krodel and Shera (Rocky) Baize, bonus daughter; Marina (Chris) Grayson, sister; Gail Sowers, grandchildren; Zane (Kaleigh), Alexus, Hannah, Nolan, Shayla, Rhaelen, Braxton, Taylor, Deandre, great-grandchildren; Gracelyn and Ezra.

Leslie is preceded in death by her parents; Wheeler and Alberta (Parkey) Parsons, and daughter; Cyndi Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Lead Pastor Darryl Marin officiating.

Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
