Linda D (George) Hilsmeyer

Linda D. (George) Hilsmeyer, age 60, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Linda was born September 15, 1957, in Evansville, IN, to the late Estel V. George and Betty Lou (Renfro) George. Linda graduated from Castle High School, was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, and had worked at Berry Plastics.

She is survived by her mother; her loving husband of 18 years, Richard Potts; daughters, Dawn Rush and April Rush; brothers, Edward R. George, Michael Allan George (Brenda), and Ronnie D. George (Laryssa); 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; nephew, Zachary George, and 4 fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her father and daughter, Amie Rush.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Gary Lanham officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2018 and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
