Linda Hert (Robertson) Jowers, age 85, of Evansville, IN, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Linda E. White Hospice House.
Linda was born April 16, 1941, in Madisonville, KY, to Alvin Hert and Maedelle (McDaniels) Robertson. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1959. Linda was a dedicated Managing Broker at F.C. Tucker Emge Realtors for over 30 years and was a past president of Southwest Indiana Association of Realtors . She taught the licensure course for many years, helping to share her professionalism and love of the industry with students of all ages finding their path in a new career. Linda’s faith was strong, personal, and of the utmost importance to her. She was previously a member of Crossroads Christian Church for 40 years, where she volunteered in the children’s ministry. Linda loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Laura Ann Wormald (David); son, Mark Lansden (Julian Sanchez); stepdaughters, Barbara West (Bryce), Nancy Franklin (Mike), and Dicie Collins; stepsons, John Jowers and Joel Landsen; sister, Betty Sue Bauer; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Nathan, Ruby, Kelly, Laura, Joel David, and Ellie.; and great grandchildren, Dawson and Rayna.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Rodger Jowers; and sister, Isabelle “Kelly” Melby.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time, Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
