Lodema J. (Kramer) Mounts

Lodema J. (Kramer) Mounts, age 91, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:58 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at home with her family by her side.

Lodema was born June 12, 1931, in Gibson County, IN, to Verner and Jessie L. (Stallings) Kramer. She graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1949 and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Lockyears Business College. Lodema was a member of Blue Grass United Methodist Church and a past member of Central United Methodist Church. She worked as a Broker for Emge Realtors, as well as Mead Johnson and Midwest Rubber and Tire. Lodema enjoyed quilting with her church friends, and she especially loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lodema is survived by her daughter, Belinda Rideout (Rob); son, James R. “Jamie” Mounts (Melissa); brother, Herbert Kramer (Bonnie); and grandchildren, Bailey Kloc (Ben), Micheal Mounts, Jestin Mounts (Emily), Tuesday Mounts, and Denver Mounts; and great grandchildren, Ellis, Carter, and Ryan.

Lodema is preceded in death by her parents, Verner and Jessie Kramer; husband, Robert J. Mounts, who passed away in 2020; sister, Verna Lee Jennings; and brother, John Kramer.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023, Walnut Hills Cemetery, Fort Branch, IN.
