Lonna Day, age 66, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
Lonna was born June 27, 1958, in Evansville, IN, to Leonard Day and Sally (Teutsch) Grall. She graduated from Castle High School in 1976. Lonna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and worked as an Administrator of a nursing home. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Lonna is survived by her mother, Sally Grall; sisters, Kathy Clevidence (Jim) and Sally Hungerford (Ken); brothers, Kenneth Grall, Jr. (Brenda) and Robert Day; nieces and nephews, Katelyn Crowe (Andrew), Malik Peterson (Tiana), Megan Clevidence, Caleb Peterson, and Rachel Clevidence; and great nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Elias, Ezekiel, Jude, and Sylvie.
Lonna is preceded in death by her father, Leonard Day; and grandparents, Norman Teutsch, Sr. and Hazel Teutsch whom she lived with for a while and adored.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, 119 Outer State Street, Chandler, IN with Pastor David Schwambach officiating.
