Lori Ann (Datin) Alexander, age 55, of Evansville, IN, passed away June 5, 2025.
Lori was born November 15, 1969, in Washington, IN, to the late Steve and Linda (Baker) Datin. She earned her LPN Degree and worked at the Evansville Protestant Home for several years before her children came along. She enjoyed swimming with her kids in the backyard and vacationing as a family in Florida when they were growing up. She loved spending time with her children – shopping with her daughter and best friend, Colleen and taking her son, Stephen to the skatepark, making it a point to take him whether at home or while traveling. Lori was obsessed with cats and the color purple, and in her downtime, she enjoyed reading. She was very involved with her family, both adoptive and biological.
Lori is survived by her daughter, Colleen Alexander (Nick Hancock) of Henderson, KY; son, Stephen Alexander (Katelyn) of Henderson, KY; brothers, Jeff Datin of Tacoma, WA, and Will Datin of Evansville, IN; childhood friend and Colleen and Stephen’s godmother, Kim Spainhoward; biological sister, Stephanie Ellis; granddogs, Luca, Cloud, and Albus; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
