Lorraine Kaye (Meredith) Billings

Lorraine Kaye (Meredith) Billings, age 70, of Henderson, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital – Newburgh, IN.

Lorraine was born January 29, 1954, in Evansville, IN, to Herman Meredith, Jr. and Peggy Joyce (Pagett) Meredith. She attended Bosse High School and enjoyed working in housekeeping for various industries such as hospitals, hotels, post offices, and the courthouse in Henderson, KY. Lorraine enjoyed listening to music, tending to her plants, going to the park and feeding the squirrels, thrift shopping, taking care of her cats, and she liked watching her television shows: Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Roseanne. She especially loved cooking for her family and spending time with her grandkids. Lorraine’s favorite color was yellow, and she was a bright, caring, kind hearted person.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Bridgette Meredith, Rhonda Duncan (Derrick) and Andrea Billings (Aaron Stone, Sr.); son, John Paul Billings (Shanna); sisters, Pauletta Swearer, Velvet Buckman (Rick), and Judy Agnew (Turk); grandchildren, Brittany Pruitt, Haley Knight, Jaycey Brock, Kenley Durbin (Emma), Sheridan Webb, Mason Duncan, Aaron “AJ” Stone, Jr., Christian Duncan, and Shelby Stone; and 8 great grandchildren.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Peggy Meredith; daughter, Angela Billings; and brother, Herman Eugene Meredith.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
