Lyubov “Luba” Stolyarenko, age 64, of Newburgh, IN, went into the loving hands of her Savior at 3:09 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Luba was born September 13, 1955, in Kharkov, Ukraine, to Vladimir M. and Nadia (Kirichenko) Gomela. She was a member of Grace of Christ Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Luba worked for over 20 years as a seamstress for Anchor Industries. Luba enjoyed reading and gardening. Her passion was to study her Bible to understand the ways of the Lord in order to live it out in her own life. Luba and Anatoliy’s marriage was a godly example to their family. She was full of wisdom, love, and kindness for all people. Luba’s children and grandchildren will never forget her love for them as well as her cooking and hospitality for every holiday.

Two days before Luba got sick, the family was talking about the virus coming to America, and Luba said, “Even if the virus comes, I’m ready to go home to Heaven anytime.”
