Marc D. Fischer, age 72, of Newburgh, IN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, October 13, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent - Evansville.
Marc was born January 10, 1953 in Evansville, IN. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1971 and attended Vincennes University where he received an Associate’s Degree. Marc was a lifelong member of Embrace Church, formerly American Baptist East, where he served as Deacon. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and NASCAR’s Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick. Marc was an avid remote control vehicle enthusiast, having built numerous cars and trucks, and racing many of those with dear friends. He and his wife, Darlene, enjoyed travelling, especially to the beach in Destin, FL. Marc was extremely kind and never met a stranger.
Marc is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Darlene Inman-Fischer; dear cousin, Ken Fischer (Elaine); and 5 grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Brett, Aubrey, and Carlie.
Marc is preceded in death by his loving parents whom he adored; and sister, Jane A. Fischer.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Huff officiating. Burial will be in Bates Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2025, and again from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
