Marcella Ann (Butler) Fegan

Marcella Ann (Butler) Fegan, age 101, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 2:04 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at River Pointe Health Campus.

Marcella was born December 2, 1921, in New Harmony, IN, to Floyd and Mary Daweena (Smith) Butler. She graduated from Haubstadt High School in 1940, and was a faithful member of Crossroads Christian Church for over 50 years. In 1986, Marcella retired from Mead Johnson Pharmaceuticals as an Inspector after 31 years of service. She enjoyed baking pecan pies and freezing corn, and she especially loved being with her friends and family.

Marcella is survived by her daughter, Patricia Fegan; nieces, Betty Hubbard, Carol Larsen (Bob), Karen Bickers, Mary Siemers (John), and Irma Garrett (Mike); nephews, Jerry Butler (Joyce), John Butler (Dana), and Rick Butler; her special great great great nephew, Andrew Thomas Nalin (Jackie); special great great great great niece, Marcella Jean Nalin; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.

Marcella is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Butler; husband of 65 years, Charles Leon Fegan, who passed away in 2007; sisters, Evelyn Bohnsack and Mary Lou Reed; brothers, Gene Butler and Russell Butler; infant niece, Shirley Jean Butler; and nephew, Bob Butler.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jack Arney officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, December 9, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
