Marcia (Goldben) Pearson

Marcia (Goldben) Pearson, age 91, of Evansville, IN, passed away October 31, 2023, at Magnolia Springs East in Louisville, KY.

Marcia was born September 17, 1932, in Cairo, IL, to Isadore and Ruth (Ringol) Goldben. She met Lenard on a blind date, married 4 months later, and enjoyed a loving 66-year marriage. Her greatest joy was her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was very much the homemaker known for her cooking and creating the place where her extended family looked forward to congregating. She loved people and was very active within her social circles. Marcia enjoyed traveling to her home in California and a number of international destinations.

Marcia is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Pearson (Martin) of Lincolnshire, IL, and Amy Letourneau (Brian) of Evansville, IN; sons, David Pearson (Margaret) and Charles Pearson (Melanie), both of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Brienne (Richard), Nicole (Andres), Daniel, Matthew, and Michael; great grandchildren, Connor and Julia; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Lenard Pearson, who passed away in 2019; and her brother, Dr. Harry Goldben.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at Temple Adath B’nai Israel, 8440 Newburgh Road, Evansville, with Rabbi Gary Mazo officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Jewish Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Friday, November 3, 2023, at Temple Adath B’nai Israel, 8440 Newburgh Road, Evansville.
