Margaret (Bratcher) Morris

Margaret (Bratcher) Morris, age 90, of Sturgis, KY, passed away at 2:11 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Redbanks in Henderson.

Margaret was born March 27, 1935, in Boonville, IN, to Robert Bratcher and Nora Barger. She was a nurse's aid and worked at Whirlpool, where she retired. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church at Christ Gospel and Huntingburg Outreach, and doing word searches.

Margaret is survived by her daughter; Barbara Massey; sons, William "Bill" Morris and Michael Morris, Sr. (Christina); brother, Gary Bratcher; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Ivor Morris; sons, James Morris and John-Paul Morris; daughters, Roberta Kaye Morris and Rebecca Elpers; brothers, Robert "Bob" Bratcher and Jerry Bratcher; and sister, Lillian (Bratcher) Cundiff.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Christ Gospel Church, 2301 East Riverside Dr., Evansville, IN, 47714 with Rev. Sharon Spicer officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville at a later date.
