Margaret C. (Livingston) Newcomb

Margaret Catherine (Livingston) Newcomb, age 96, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 11:29 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at home.

Margaret was born March 13, 1926, in Hanson, KY, to Arthur Southhall Livingston and Laura Lee (Todd) Livingston. She graduated from Hanson High School in 1944. After graduation Margaret met Jack Newcomb at Republic Aviation and they were married on November 27, 1947. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home wife and mother. She loved cooking for her family, taking care of the lawn, going fishing and watching the Waltons. Margaret never missed Billy Graham Classics.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Bruce Newcomb and Gary Newcomb; nieces, Dawn Forche, Docia Richard, Cathy Blue; and nephew, John Blue.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Laura Livingston; her loving husband of 66 years, Jack B. Newcomb; sister, Mary Jane Blue; and brothers, Charles Livingston and F.W. Livingston.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Hanson Cemetery, Hanson, Kentucky.
