Margaret A. “Peggy” Mahannah, age 72, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with the Lord after gracefully fighting a long battle with cancer on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Golden Living Center – Woodlands in Newburgh, IN.
Peggy was born December 28, 1948, in Watertown, NY, to E. Alan Mahannah, Jr. and Helen E. (Travers) Mahannah. She graduated from Gross Pointe High School in Michigan in 1967 and earned her Biblical Counseling Degree from Illinois Christian College in Peoria, IL. Peggy was an avid reader of her Bible and freely distributed Bibles to numerous people. She had a very giving heart and was an intercessory prayer warrior. Peggy was a thinker and a Christian apologist. She was an exquisite cook, had an amazing green thumb, was a horse, dog, and cat fancier since she was very young, was a writer, and enjoyed watching movies, singing, playing the piano and reading.
