Marian Sue “Susie” (O’Bryan) Crowe, age 78, of Evansville, IN, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.
Susie was born August 15, 1943, in Evansville, IN, to James Pious and Sue Catherine (Vowels) O’Bryan. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1961 and worked as an inspector for Windsor Plastics before retiring early to care for her grandbabies. Susie attended 1 on 1 Church in Newburgh. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and especially loved spending time with her family.
Susie is survived by her childhood sweetheart and loving husband of 57 years, Charles Crowe; son, Duane Crowe; daughters, Cindy Malin and Theresa Hargett (Scott); sister, Betty Schaumburger; brother, Charles O’Bryan; grandchildren, Rochelle, Mackenzie, Brandon (Emily), Madison, and Wyatt; great grandchildren, Jaysa, Elijah, Trey, Millie, Eleanor, and Aiden; and many nieces and nephews.
Susie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sue O’Bryan; and siblings, Shirley Madden, Doris Killian, Maggie Owen, James O’Bryan, and Michael O’Bryan.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Schwambach officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
