Marion “Teen” V. Maikranz, age 94, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Riverpointe Health Campus.
Marion was born April 6, 1926, in Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, NY, to Walter H. Clark and Marion V. (Maher) Clark. She graduated from Cornwall-on-the-Hudson High School in 1944. She met her loving husband Billy while he was stationed at West Point Military Academy. They were married for 72 years. Marion enjoyed crafts, painting and spending time with her family. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
Marion is survived by her sons, William “Bill” M. Maikranz (Pam) of Fenton, MO, Walter “Walt” V. Maikranz (David Sassanella) of Fort Wayne, IN, Wayne J. Maikranz (Phillip Bogle) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Julie Maikranz Stratman (Aaron Stratman) and Jane Reuter (Scott); great grandchildren, Kate, Jonah, Will, Rachel, and Anna Stratman and Ella, Bradley, Jameson and Maverick Reuter; brother, Walter Clark (Eula Mae); sisters, Vivian Burg and Dorothy Suto; brother in-law, Victor Darvin Maikranz of Mackey, IN; sister-in-law, Joanna Maikranz of Princeton, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy M. Maikranz; sister, Lillian Suto, brothers, Harold Clark and Donald Clark; brother in-law, Paul Suto.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2020, Providence Cemetery, Somerville, IN, with Father Gary Kaiser officiating.
Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville.
